In celebration of our 32nd anniversary and following on the 27th birthday of the second-born, the esteemed spouse has ventured south with the first-born.  This is a cause for celebration for me.

No doubt it will prove an expensive jaunt, but it is worth it to me, for the silence their absence permits..  Although the daughter dwells some miles away from Bonhill, I'm sure I can hear her voice when she opens a window .and a few days at a distance will prove beneficial to all concerned.
